Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary

Benjamin Franklin Hilyard was born 29 Nov 1878, the son of Ephraim and Nancy Jane (Stemen) Hilyard. He married Charlotte Moorman on 13 Oct 1900 in Allen County, Ohio. She was born 19 Nov 1877. Three children were born to this couple: Eulah and Beulah, twins, in 1901, and Eunice in 1903. This picture was taken on the occasion of this couple's 50th wedding anniversary. "The photo was taken at Uncle Frank's house. As you looked at the front of the house, just left and to the rear side of the house was their pump. Just left of that area was a driveway. The building you see in the background was to the left side of a driveway. It was a store, but not a grocery store. The grocery store was across the street."
