Pre-Season Trades Several moves have
been made in the preseason, including moves that would have Steve Thomas
(who both came and left), Marc Johson and Krystof Zdybiki packing their
bags. Acquisitions included Terry Sawchuk, who recorded the league's first
shut out, Dean Prentice, who's paperwork did not go through in time and
was forced to play in Vancouver against Minneapolis, and Pat Verbeek, who
was one of four goal scorers in the first game (set up by GM/coach/player
Craig Waldick).
