Kamarajar's Centenary Function
On 15th July, we have celebrated the centenary birth of Kamarajar at Punnavana Nadar Arangam in a grand manner. We have conducted Inter-School competition in Madurai such as Elocution, Essay writing and Drawing competition at three levels. N.S.V. Chithan Ex. M.P. has presided over the function and distributed the prizes.

Independence Day
On 15th August, Independence day has been celebrated by us. Our honourable president Mr. M.N. Suresh Kumar B.A., hoisted the flag and made the wonderful speech. His advice and guidance is a boom to students as well as teachers.

Sports Day
Annual sports day has been conducted on 18th August. Chief Educational officer Mr. R. Karunakaran has graced the occassion and distributed the prizes to the winners.

Volley Ball Tournament
From 8th Aug to 10th Aug we have organized volley ball matches at the state level. The rolling trophy has been donated by Mr. Kannan MBA - Mrs. Eswari Trust. At the finals St. Mary's H.S.S of Dindigul dashed against Thekkur. Dindigul St. Mary's H.S.S has got the rolling trophy for the first time.

Paventher Illaikya Mandram Inaugration
Paventher Illaikya Mandram (Tamil Literary Association) has been inaugrated on 28th october 2002 at our school campus by Mr. Shanmuga Thirukumaran M.A., M.Phil., B.Ed. On that day our school students conducted a pattimandram too.

Motivation Class for Students
Motivation classes for X and XII std students has been conducted by the management in a grand manner. Our school correspondent Mr. P.S.M.M.G. Ganesan has given the welcome address. President Mr. M.N. Sureshkumar has delivered the presidential address. Dr. M. Arivazhgan M.D., Ph.D., of sri Ramakrishna Seva Nilayam, Tenkasi. He has motivated the students through proper channel and has given the advice. The program is a very useful and successful.

Annual Day
54th Annual day celebration was celebrated very grandly on 12th January at L.A.M.K. Natarajan Auditorium at V.M.J. School. C.E.O Mr. Kanna kalayana Sundaram M.A., M.Ed., has presided over the function and graced the occassion. Medals were given to the achievers of last academic year and various entertainment programme were also given by our students.

Republic Day
On 26th January, our honourable H.M. hoisted the flag.
