Course Information

  • The content in each subject is divided into 10 units according CBSE syllabus.

  • A brief synopsis is discussed (in at least one class) at the beginning of each unit.

  • Problem solving is done in at least two classes for each unit. The number of classes may vary according to the length of the unit.

  • In each class, 30 multiple choice questions are solved by the instructor and 10 multiple choice questions are given as home work in each subject.

  • There will be 2 tests every week. A test contains 60 multiple choice questions with 20 from each subject. Test duration is 60 minutes. 50% of the questions (10 in each subject) in the test will be new ones which are neither discussed in class room nor given as home work.

  • At least 100 multiple choice questions (30+30 solved, 10+10 home work and 10+10 test) are discussed in each unit. At the end of the course a student would have answered at least 1000 multiple choice questions in each subject.

  • Any student scoring less than 50% in any test or skipping a class without prior notice to the instructor will be dropped from IIT-JEE classes.
