We have been talking about getting a dog for sometime. Then after Tigger (god rest her soul left us in Febuary, we really started think hard about it. On the last friday of march we got on a puppy from the Animal Rescue League in Ankeny.

Holy Crap! have things been different ever since.

The vet has become are new best friend. Shots, then a skin infection/ rash, then mite dips. We went to puppy class. We take the dog to the pet store (Petco encourages this, really!)

It's like having a small child except you can't seem to reason with her.

Our new, first, and only dog is Sabrina. Here the cute puppy plays peacefully with her first toy.

Sabrina enjoys the tunnel at puppy class. Only 2 puppies in the class were not Black labs. She did very well in puppy class.
Two months after we brought a cute puppy home, the devil dog Sabrina, master of all she surveys, guards the driveway.
One of Sabrina's favorite things to do is Tug-of-war.
