Wang Jie, I know you cannot read this, but...

Wang Jie,

I know you cannot read this now, but I still want to tell you something.

You have been such a good friend. You're always kind and nice to all of us.

I never told you this before because I thought guys don't say things like that.

I always cherish the talk we had, and the laughter we shared.

You are always a great listener and a friend with humbleness.

Your help for me, and your devotion to our friendship is priceless for me,

although I tend to overlook that before and didn't give it much thoughts.

Wang Jie, I'm sorry that I didn't give you much help when you're in need.

Even when you ask for some suggestions, I always tell you my ideas as if

giving a speech. I could have provided much more support to you.

I'm so sorry.

Wang Jie, do you remember the first time I taught you to drive a stick shift?

I was so angry at your poor skill although I myself learned it not more than a month ago.

Btw: you almost scared me to death that time.

Wang Jie, do you still remember once we biked to Yuefei's place along the BART line on a

beautiful sunny day. It's one of the happiest ride I had here in Berkeley.

I still bike to Berkeley marina sometimes, I wish I invited you with me.

The view is very beautiful there. Maybe you are seeing some more beautiful scenery in heaven.

I have to say that your room is in such a mess. Boy, there're books and clothes everywhere.

But you never hesitate to open your place and welcome us.

Those times we had dinner at your place were very impressive.

Remember on the Independence day, Qiuni, you and I watched the fireworks at the balcony of your apartment building?

And later we had ramen noodles. It's delicious.

I know this is a little too late, but I just want to say thank you.

And the dinner we had at your place were all very good.

Wang Jie, you built us up with your gentle and humorous words.

Your devotion and love for friends is always remembered by us.

Take care, dear brother.
