This is a page for my poetry. If you know me and you want your poetry here too, email me. I will do the best that I can.

Outside
I look out the window and watch your footprints in the snow
my finger rests on the glass,
touching your vivid blue shadow as it dances across the white
the tears in my reflection appear to blur together
with the frozen streaks of rain on the frosty window
my finger follows you all the way home
even as you dissapear behind your front door
I still wait
and stare at your footprints a few moments longer
then I close my eyes and turn out the light.

Perfection
Your lips are lingering in my mind
in all thier beauty and perfection
I could watch as you speak for hours on end
and when those perfect lips smile,
it makes me smile, too.
your eyes are stuck in my thoughts
so solidly blue
without even a ripple of green or grey
to interrupt the circle of unbroken sky.

Ripped
Ripped on a bladed fence
drops of a blood red rain
killed as you're trying to escape
as the tears run down your face
and they fall to the ground
in dramatic pink puddles
though your flesh is torn
there's no use to scream
so bite your tongue
and just pull it back
you've left your mark
for them all to see

Untitled
I saw your eyes
looked through your soul
where time will never take it's toll
we know true beauty lies within
and god forgives our earthly sins
blood travels our veins
does that make it right
to forget our world while asleep at night
powers of heart drained through dreams
divided by some mortal seams
back to the earth, go we must
ashes to ashes, dust to dust

What I Know
My heart knows, it knows the truth
the things I want to say to you
and yet my mouth won't form the words
maybe I'll just never learn
that wondering has no effect
on when, or how, or why you left
and if you do, I want to know
that it was right to let you go
maybe I can't be held
maybe I can't be held back
but freedom rings inside my head
and echoes all the things I lack
I think I'm screaming much to loud
for you to ever hear my call
I guess I'll try my best to find out
whether or not I know you at all
