| Feb 2002 - 4th: At the start of this month Vicki has been making appearances in public once again after the incident at the <<QSSYMM>> concert. Vicki went to Singapore for promotional activities and lots of fans went to support her including many of our own members representing the club. On the day free posters were given out and wei wei autographed them. They ran out at the end very quickly. We have received news which was a translation of a newspaper report. Thanks to YiZheng and ellie. Vicki arrived at the airport today for functions to promote her new movie <<Double Odessey 2002>> and 10 fans were her bodyguards. Worried that the Japanese military flag incident is a treat to Wei? Worried that the fans may too warm and cause disorder? 10 Singapore fans were seen at the airport with Vicki acting as her bodyguards to provide Vicki with protection. Singapore established, 'Wei xin zhi jia', Ang Mei Yen recieved an interview last night and disclosed that today, members of the club shall support Vicki fully throughout her promtion schedules. Mei Yen disclosed that Wei's safety shall be taken care of and that the club imposed strict rules on it's members. Therefore, besides being present to give Vicki their support, members will try to control fans who over react and cause disorder. Fans who appeared at the airport were not less than 10 people. They were both female and male fan bodyguards protecting Vicki at the airport. The fanclub was established in July 2000 by a group of Vicki's fans. Today there are nearly 300 members, aged between 6-60! Today's trip with Heavenly queen Faye Wong and Heavenly King Tony Leong and Zhang Zheng arrived in Singapore for their promotional activities. At 18:00 they all arrived safely at Lido Cineplex in Orchard Road to meet the fans and the public, followed by another press conference. At 19:30 Vicki and Co. were the special guests on the Radio Station Fm 93.3 for 1 hour. Lastly, at 20:30 they all arrived at Bishan Junction 8 for an autograph session. 6th: From a certain newspaper report we have found that Vicki has been made representative of China's An Hui. After the Japanese modelling incident Vicki's popularity has been greatly falling after rising to fame in <<HZGG>>. Many pretty female stars were made 'city flowers'. Lots of other places in china like Beijing, Wu Nan, Hong Kong ect have got people like Maggie Cheung as their city rep. But although Wei wei has been made into the rep. of An Hui there have been many complaints ect with this after the Japanese incident. I think that it will take a while until our dear Vicki will have come back 'out' of the Japanese incident. The organizing company has choosen 14 popular cities with a 'city flower' in each representing each city. Sai An is still in it's process of choosing their star rep. A fan in An Hui was unhappy about Vicki being the city rep. From many fans and members who were lucky enough to go and wei wei they all said that she looked more beautiful in real life and was very happy at the functions. 7th: Hong Kong promotional activity at Wan Chai for <<Tian Xia Wu Shuang>> 8th: Hong Kong Jusco a HK music prog. On Tvb 16th: Vicki's new movie <<Tian>> will be officially on in China. 24th: Vicki has been down with the flu and looked slightly unwell and tired. But once she saw Zhang Zhen, she was said to have become very energetic and started to joke with him. When asked whether she has been working really hard on filming lately Vicki replied that it has been very difficult acting <<Virtual>> whilst <<Heroes>> is underway. <<CO2002>> has already started also. So it has been hard to be at both ends filming different things. She also commented that they are all very good movies and that she cant give up any of them. Vicki also said that she isn't out to prove that it isn't luck that puts her where she is now and that it's her own expectation. [After going through so much, I learned how to take things with initiative. I can't stand it when people don't have expectations on me anymore.] Vicki said she isn't a person with high expectations of herself but it's because of the situation that's making her start to have a higher expectation. [...I feel that I can do better, so why not expect more?] How do you relax from all the stress? Vicki chooses to chat with friends and have meals together and drink together. She thinks that holidays are also a way to relax. [I like to stay alone in my Beijing or ShangHai house, without my family and friends' company] She explained that normally she can't ever stay alone and now she can stay alone for a week, go online, clean the house, water the plants and watch movies.
