The Sophmore team came into the Pearland game with high spirits, as they rode on their defeat of Deer Park and the fact that they had beaten Pearland earlier in the season. However, the defense didn't seem up to par as it usually was, and the Lady Oilers scored a few quick runs. Creek battled back with a few runs of their own, but in the end, they lost 9-3. Coach Radicioni has attributed the loss to lack of focus. Perhaps the Freshmen are a little off-balance since they were without Stephanie Gibson for the first time for a home game, as Stephanie has been permanently moved up to JV due to need of players.
