On and up as both go
Far away to a better show
You laugh, you smile, and you've had your fun
You've cried and prayed and been on the run
Through loss again and again
And onto a better game, a win
We've all been the one we could be
If onlt everyone of us could see
When we weren't always game smart
It came down to dedication & heart
As two leave we'll get ten more
But our favorites are still going out the door
We want them to turn and sat "goodbye"
They say they will, but you know it's a lie
We always wish there were more time
Maybe they'll call for a quarter and a dime
But the seconds it would take
Becomes the time we now make
Because that's all we'll have before
The two will be on and up as they'll both go

They'll leave away to college and we,
