The year is 1844, in the province of Wallachia. Still battling the raging beast inside himself, Cornell must follow the trail of his sister to the dark castle where he may come face to face with the devil himself.

Later, flash forward eight years after Cornell's quest and join Reinhardt Schneider, Carrie Fernandez, and Henry Oldrey as they discover the terrible legacy that was left behind. The trio's journey will either set them on the path to their destinies or see them consumed by the evil darkness that has spread across the land.
