Note: Freeware. For such a small file, it does quite a lot of useful things. Especially the undelete function, it lets u recover files u have emptied from the recycle bin. One thing though, it opens its website whenever u launch it.

This is a slightly stripped-down version of its original software, which costs US$32.88. Unfortuanately, it does not recognise .dat extension. Other than that, it is a useful converter, have tried converting a .rm (real media) into an .avi files, with little or no degration of quality. The convertion took around 1 min for a the 1 min .rm clip(the computer I used is 1.7GHz, 1GB ram).

It is only a trial version, for the download. 30 uses. It can convert video files to the .mpg format. For the unregistered version, it adds a "unregistered" word into your video!

It may be me that doesn't know how to use it, I find it useless. I thought it is a software like DVD region free but I was wrong. It requires a region-free drive to use. If I have a region-free drive already, why would I want it for?

Freeware. Useful software in converting .dat files into other formats, mainly .avi(tested). The conversion does not take very long, maybe its length of the clip. One thing to take note in converting, is to select a compression codec, if not the file size would be humongous.

Note: Freeware. It is as useful and easy as what the other reviewers at CNET as said, does it's job (in my case wma files to mp3) quickly. However I noticed a little bugging problem, it cuts off the first second of the recording during conversion. So my MP3s is short of 1 sec, and you notice the difference if your song starts immediately. Use Free Mp3 WMA converter 1.5 instead.

Note: Freeware. I downloaded it to covert those mp3s which are too soft, to something louder. It works, and supports quite a variety of formats, wav (multiple codecs), mp3, vox, gsm, real audio, au, aif, flac, ogg and many more. Recommended. Use it to increase or decrease the volume of songs that are too loud or soft.

It may be able to play the play DVDs, but full screen option is disabled, so is the pause option. So basically we can't move round the movie. Missed something, and u have to watch the whole thing again. Nothing mentioned on trial period.

Supposed to be a IM convergent program. Not much funtionality, MSN is still more useful as it can access mail. Even Trillian is better. LOUSY, disconnects often, saying IP has changed when it has not.
