Drinks of Gor



Blackwyne: urth coffee; expensive drink, also grown in the Thentis Mountains. Blackwyne second slave is straight black coffee, no sugar, no cream

Ka-la-na: a potent dry red or white wine, made from ka-la-na fruit, the white is usually served chilled, though on a rare occassion asked for warmed, the red warmed, though sometimes asked for chilled.

Paga: short for pagar sa-tarna, a heedy, distilled, grain alcohol, served warm in a footed bowl.

Sul-Paga: alcoholic beverage made from suls (similar to potatos); akin to vodka, served in a footed bowl.

Mulled Ka-la-na: heated ka-la-na, with mulling spices, usually garnished with a piece of ka-la-na fruit or tospit, served in a goblet.

Ta-wine: dry wine made from ta-grapes, served in a goblet at room temperature.

Kal-da: made with ka-la-na wine, mixed with citrus juices, and spiced, served hot in a bowl (hot stinging spices, not sweet like in mulled ka-la-na)

Gorean Ale: closer to a honey lager than to ale or beer; gold in color; brewed from the grains of Gor; imported from urth in early years; served in a goblet.

Bazi Tea: an herbal beverage served hot, and heavily sugared, usually drank 3 tiny cups at a time in rapid succession.

Bosk Milk, Water, or Juice: {kalana juice, ramberry juice, larma juice, ta-grape juice, red fruit juice, tospit juice, mixed fruit juice, bosk milk, water}

Cho: made from beans brought back on one of the early Voyages of Acquisition, this is the same as the chocolate of Earth. Hot chocolate is served in high-class establishments, as its rarity costs dearly
