Azalea "Professor Walters" to planted just back from the center of the bowl. Ruffled edges of red and white flowers againist the glossy dark green foliage of this small shrub are a beautiful eye catcher.

Scotch Moss to be planted just to the left or right a little under the azelea forms a fast growing, dense, spongy, lime green carpet with tiny white flowers in summer.

Japanese Sweet Flag " Ogon" to be planted next to the scotch moss toward the front center. This plant has glossy green and gold leaves and will tolerate drier soil than other cultivators.
