09/17/00 Fest UPDATE (3):
There Phone number
for emergencies only:
Rock Hall Landing Marina - - - 410-639-2224
Phone number
at the Condo
- - - 410-639-7486
(Peter/Nancy/Cas/Claudia will be staying there Friday night
to Sunday morning--it will be the place to
hang out when not on the boats)
Molters and Peter/Nancy
will bring all the community food for
the weekend (except for Friday night dinner).
Bring what you
want to drink, and we can keep it in the Molter's
big cooler at the condo. We'll split the cost of the food. Last
year it came to about $13.00 per person for the weekend.
PLEASE PRINT OUT THE ABOVE TELEPHONE NUMBERS AND BRING WITH YOU!
09/17/00 Fest UPDATE (2):
There will be
internet access via the Villa Nancy is renting at the Marina.
One PC will be located there for misc stuff, and for communicating
to the
Forum with folks that can't make the Fest. There is a telephone
for local and 800# calls available there also.
The PC has an internet connection via CompuServe 800 WATS which is not free. If anyone would like to donate their local internet connection for the duration of the Fest in order to minimize online costs ($6.00/HR), it would be appreciated. Anyone in the local area that has an Internet service provider that offers dial in via the Rock Hall area would be a prime candidate. Additionally, anyone with access via any other service provider (other than AOL) that has a local dial up number in Rock Hall would also be of support. Please post a message in the forum if you are willing to help.
Like last year,
we would like to have a time where we can set up a chat. If you
have any comments or suggestions post a message on the forum in
the thread on the VicFest!

LODGING:
Lodging: Lodging is LIMITED in Rock Hall, and most is expensive,
so make reservations EARLY.
You can stay.....
On your boat
At the Mariner's Motel (410-639-2291)--reasonable and very close--only
one room left!!!
At the Marina in a villa/townhouse/house (2-3 bedrooms/2 baths--sleep
4-6 adults, $195/night/building)--share one with a couple of VicFest
attendees. Call the Mariner's motel and talk to Roberta. There
are 2
villas, one townhouse, and one house.
At any one of several B&Bs in the area (more pricey, but VERY
scenic)
Further plans:
DINNER FRIDAY: held at a place TBA, pending how many people we
have
(another reason to make plans soon)
SATURDAY AM: Group Breakfast with a reprise of THE RECIPE (Carpline
willing.....)
