Breef history: The A-37 Dragonfly is a samll, low-cost combat aircraft employed in recent years for the FAC (I know it sound like a bad word but it means, forward air control). Developed from the proven T-37 trainer, A-37s were used in the COIN (counter-insegurance) air-to-ground role but have now been re-assigned to the FAC mission under the designation OA-37B. |
