Victor Whitmore was born in Walla Walla, Washington, in 1953, and as a child showed a great love of writing. After high school, he entered the Navy during the Vietnam War, were he was stationed on an aircraft refuel ship and where his adventures began to take shape. He would write for the gift of expression, and to develop an understanding of life and even in coping with the feelings of heartaches and physical pain. It was not until a life-changing event during which he became more involved in writing that he began to create his book, When I Think Back in Time!
