TIPE-TIPE PARTISIPIAL LARAS BAHASA JURNALISTIK

Abstract: A journalistic register is said as a language variety. As a variety of the  Bahasa Indonesia, it has not been studied much by some researchers. whereas in fact it plays an important role in the process to educate our community in a language use. Consciously or unconsciously, the use of Bahasa Indonesia in the journalistic register is regarded as one of some models for Indonesian community to use the language. This article, therefore, is aimed at studying the journalistic register, especially, that is in line with participial forms used in high frequency. Based on the observation on the mass media in South Kalimantan, the writer finds out those participial forms in the type of “dikatakan”, “dikatakannya”, “dikatakan ketua panitia”, “disinggung isu bom”, and that of “menyinggung persoalan”.
