PENDIDIKAN DALAM PRESPEKTIF STRUKTURAL DAN KULTURAL Wahyu Abstract. The low educational quality is perceived as one of the causes of the crisis in morality, socio-culture, and economic and politic fields. In turn, the low educational quality creates the low quality of human resources in Indonesia. Realizing this condition we are necessary to improve our educational system. This is to say that educational problems should be solved through all elements involved in education itself. This is because those elements of education are closely related from one and another. One of the ways to solve educational problems is through Structural and Cultural approaches. A principle assumption of Structural theory is that all elements causing educational problems should be solved. Whereas, Cultural theory shows that education is not only aimed at educating our people but building their morality also follows it.
