COMPOSTING Bunda Halang Abstract: Large solid waste (garbage) productions and high level of unemployed SMU students are the two problems which are experiencing by Indonesian. One of the activities that can reduce those solid waste (garbage) and a number of unemloyed SMU students is composting. The aims of this paper are to explain the precise procedures of composting process and to appeal school managers so that the composting become a non-curriculum activity in the schools. SMU students have a self potential to do and to develop the composting as a business–oriented activity so that they can obtain money to overcome their need.
