KONSTRUKSI BITRANSITIF DALAM BAHASA ACEH

Abstract: Djunaidi (1996:182--90) stated that in Acehnese there are bitransitive constructions resulted from dative movement. However, such data, until now, is only known in peurunoe `to teach', which contains affix peu- `causative' and stem *runoe `teach'. This work shows that there is no dative movement in the language. The construction of bitransitive peurunoe is only one of the causative forms as a result of the revaluation of causee to direct object.
