DALAM PROSES PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH SEBAGAI UPAYA PENDIDIKAN NILAI KESETIAAN TERHADAP NKRI

Abstract: Proclamation of May 17,l949 by ALRI Divisi IV A of Kalimantan Defence was one of the historical struggling episode launched by South Kalimantan People in maintaining the Proclamation of Independence of August 17, 1945. The proclamation consisted of the South Kalimantan People’s  to ignore the contents of Linggarjati agreement and to state  South Kalimantan as a part of Republic of Indonesia. The historical event reflects some struggling values that should be known, understood, contemplated, and highly appreciated by our young generation as representation of loyality to Indonesian Republic. Education is trusted as a very effective means of dissemination in the process of learning and teaching at schools. In this relation, qualified and dedicated teachers should select and determine appropriate approach and learning and teaching strategy.
