KONSEP PENDIDIKAN PESANTREN DAN LUAR SEKOLAH

MENUJU TERCIPTANYA PENDIDIKAN BERBASIS MASYARAKAT

Abstract: Integrating the educational concepts of Islamic Studies School and of Non-formal School is meant to be a starting point for community-based educational development. There are some strategies to be taken: institutional, social, owner-ship, managerial, and technological strategies. In their implementation, the government’s and community’s role through a partnership agreement is needed. In one hand, the government’s role refers to its role as community server, facilitator, supporter, partner, and fund donator. On other hand, the community’s role refers to their role as initiator, planner, caretaker, organizer, fund and facility equipper, and controller. They should consist of representative of the community leader, community organization, self-effort and business organizations.
