MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR
MELALUI PEMBERIAN TUGAS PEMETAAN KONSEP

Abstract: Students’ low motivation can be seen from their attitudes; for instance, they are enthusiastic, and not ready to attend the lectures. As a result, the teaching and learning process is not interesting and passive. So, there is no interaction between the students and their lecturers. The students tend to be passive and they receive the material as it is. This problem is tried to be solved through a class action research; the students are given a task to map the concept of Embryology material. This class action research is conducted through two circles. The research result shows that the mapping task can motivate the students learning Embryology. As a consequence, it brings about increases in post test score, students’ active interaction during the lecture, and makes the class interesting.
