ANALISIS MATERI LINGKUNGAN PADA BUKU IPA SD Dzaki Ramli & St. Wahidah Arsyad
Abstract: This
research is aimed at identifying and analyzing the material content on
environment in some textbooks of Natural Science of Elementary School 1994 for
the third and fourth students and its appropriateness for the curriculum of 1994
, and in reference to the Piaget’s concept of students’ intellectual development
and Environmental Knowledge subject of lecture. Data are analyzed
interpretatively, qualitatively and descriptively. The result of research shows
that most of the content of environmental material (17 of i 45 topics) of the
textbooks of 1994-1998 is appropriate for the curriculum. However, most of the
activities/ practice, pictures, material supporting illustration are not in
accordance with the Piaget’s concept of students’ intellectual development.
