PENGgunaan METODE PENYELESAIAN PROBLEMA SECARA SISTEMATIK PADA PEMBELAJARAN KONSEP GAS DAN TERMODINAMIKA KIMIA

Abstract: The researcher has been
conducted a research on the implementation of
Sistematic Problem Solving Method at gas and chemical
thermodynamics to increase the learning achievement of the students of chemical
education study program of FKIP Unlam Banjarmasin. This research is aimed
at knowing whether Sistematic Problem Solving Method can increase
the students’ learning achievement and knowing the
students’ ability in comprehending the concept of gas and chemical
thermodynamics. This research has been done using an action research design in
two cycles. Each cycle consists of the phases of planning, implementation,
perception and reflection. Data collecting has been done using the percentage
technique. The result of research shows that (1)based on the result of pretest,
the students’ learning achievement increases in the span of 15 to 55 to become
20 to 90 at the post test I and it increases again at the post test II and
becomes 50 to 100. (2) there is an increase in percenatge of the students’ right
answer for each test item, namely: from 39,35 % at pretest to become 65,45 % at
post test I and 84,53 at post test II. Key words: problem solving method, gas and chemical thermodynamics
