MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD Rusmansyah
Abstract: This research is aimed at
increasing students’ learning achievement in studying Reaction Concept of
Reduction-Oxidation and Electrochemistry through co-operative learning model
with the type of Student Team-Achievement Division ( STAD). This research is
categorized as a class action research. Data are collected from the learning
achievement test of the student of III IPA 1 SMAN 6
Banjarmasin, observation, and questionnaires and then
analyzed descriptively- qualitatively. The result of research shows that using
the learning model the students can improve their learning achievement. Based on
the early test, namely: 21,60% they can reach 75,85% after finishing cycle I.
After second cycle, all the students can master the concepts better, and their
learning achievement reaches 91,51%. The result of observation on management of
co-operative learning model with type of STAD shows a good result in which the
teachers have been able to apply the learning model in a better way. The result
of questionnaires on the learning model shows that the students give a very
positive response; the strategy of teaching facilitates the students to learn,
makes them satisfied and motivated, and they feel that they have responsibility
for their progress either in individual or in group. .
