Ilmu Pendidikan FKIP Universitas Lambung Mangkurat Abstract: The main objective of this research is to have a description on how the Teaching of Education of Islamic Religion is conducted in Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarmasin. This research is also meant to explore the problems faced by the lecturers in the teaching process of the subject. The students’ compulsory extra-curricular activity is also described. The population of research are the students attending the subject of Education of Islamic Religion and the lecturers of the subject in Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarmasin. Some students are determined as the samples. They are randomly chosen. All the lecturers are determined as the samples (total sample). Key Words : Education of Islamic Religion.
