PENGARUH PENCEMARAN UDARA PLTU PAITON TERHADAP DAERAH SEKITARNYA DI JAWA TIMUR Sidharta Adyatma

Pendidikan Geografi, FKIP Universitas Lambung Mangkurat Abstract: The aim of this research is that to know the air pollution category by fly ash in Paiton Power Plant and its surrounding areas which is based upon air pollution standard index. The first phase includes sample taking activity, collecting secondary data and measuring the ash concentration in the air which is based on the nearest residence and observation of ash concentration. The second phase is a laboratory test to know about the ash concentration in the air. Air pollution by fly ash in Paiton Power Plant and its surrounding areas which is based on Air Pollution Standard Index (APSI) shows that in Meteorologyical Station Location, Guest House Garden and Banyuglugur Village Office are dominated by (APSI) value between 50 up to 101 in medium category. Selobanteng Village Office location and Paiton Power Plant are dominated by (APSI) value between 101 up to 199 in unhealthy category. Key words: pencemaran. udara, polutan, debu
