Abstract: The research is conducted to identify the social-cultur background of female workers based on basic characteristics (age, education), working condition, family, women’s rights, and access to get information on problems relating to psychological/emotional, physical and sexual violences of gender perspective. It uses qualitative and quantitative approach, stratified random and purposive random samplings. Data collected are conducted through in-depth interview, observation, gender analysis, and percentage distribution table. The result shows the majority of female workers are elementary school graduates while men are junior or senior high school graduates. They are in low socio-economic life; and they work based on low educational qualification in formal and informal sectors. The interview reveals most female workers have experienced violance for subordination, marginalization, and heavy burden of work in community.
