Yup, I like playing cards, used to play a lot in my undergrad, in fact my room was a little club.

Did I say reading.......? Don't get wrong ideas, I will be the last person you see with a   err..... umm..... gosh!!!......... , I don't even know the name of a good academic book. Now that gives you an idea what I read? I started reading novels just 6 years back, not much now a days though. I like reading suspense, intrigue, action, thrillers and the like. I read Sidney Sheldon, Irving Wallace, Jeffrey Archer, Robert Ludlum, Mario Puzo. I have a long way to go in reading. My favorite novel is THE GODFATHER by Mario Puzo. Try to read this book, if at all you are interested in reading. And don't miss reading Dale Carnegie's books if you get a chance. Its worth a reading for instance "HOW TO WIN FRIENDS". You will learn a lot, no doubts. I read anything under sun, which are informative and keep your interest, apart from academic books.

Music - the best thing that keeps you going. I am an ardent listener. Even if I am preparing for my final exam, there should be something humming in the back ground, otherwise I feel alone. But I am not the rock and roll types. I hear all types of music but I prefer slow, melodious, soothing and romantic music. My favorite pastime is to pop a slow cassette on a peaceful night, hit the bed and dream as the music takes me away. I like old melodies. My all time fav. hindi song is "Pal pal dil ke paas........." - KK's voice for Dharmendra in the movie BLACKMAIL. Thats an excellent song. And in telugu I like many songs to pick out one. If you are wondering about English, I just hear them whenever my roomie plays them.... but my pick is TITANIC 's "My heart goes on.......".

Well, I was just wondering why I did not start the page talking about CRICKET. I am a DIE HARD cricket fan. The conventional optimistic everyday guy who looks for an Indian win even when the team is deep down in doldrums 'coz I am one of the NEVER SAY DIE types. Talk about cricket and I am with you for ages.

And coming to my cricket - I just play it and enjoy playing it - I did not play big time cricket and neither am I a good player. But talk of short pitch cricket and I would talk of pitching an off-spinner on the off stump that drifts away from the left-hander or into the right-hander and an occasional leg spinner with a mix of straight ones. I like to keep the batsman guessing and I am good at it. But sometimes I get a sound thrashing - up and downs of course. And coming to batting I am not so good but an average player, but sometimes good. I am an excellent fielder, always diving and enthusiastic on the field encouraging people around, of course I used to lead the team and quite good at it too. I am a very good wicket-keeper and close-in fielder. I cant forget the cricketing days at OC hostel (JNTU Anantapur) where we used to enjoy a lot. Hmm... if only I could get those days back...

And coming to other games, I used to play football and kabbadi at school. Now a days I am playing Racquet Ball... am not bad at it.

I like watching movies. Whatever be the recipe - Action, Comedy, Romance, Suspense, Westerns, Thriller, Drama. I particularly like the westerns - those cowboy movies are good.
