MBA - Master of Business Administration
I am currently enrolled in the Master of Business Administration Program at Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Management. My emphasis is in Finance with a particular orientation towards Strategy. I recently finished a highly successful 1st year in the program where I was able to complete classes in Corporate Finance, Strategy, Global Strategy, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Investments, Data Analysis (Toolkit), Communications, Human Resource Management, and E-Commerce.

These classes were able to provide a powerful cadre of qualitative and quantitative management tools and models, supplemented by a framework of analytical models for strategic diagnostic evaluation. I will graduate from the program in April of 2002.

BUSINESS and COMPUTERS SCIENCE

Previous to my MBA program I studied Business Administration at United Metropolitan University. I received with honors a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration. I also received a Technical degree in Computers Science from Institute of Technology JOPA I, which is a three-year program.

I consider this education to be crucial to my success in my MBA program and as a future manager. I have very strong feelings about acquiring education that is Techno-Business in nature. Computers Science helped me to understand concepts relating to the effective management applying software and other computer's solutions in organizations. My business degree helped to establish a foundation of solid business principles in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Economics. Together, these two disciplines have provided a powerful framework with which I have been able to approach, and successfully solve, problems facing the organizations in which I have been employed.
