Aleatoric Composer
Aleatoric Composer is a program that you can use to create midi files using random
probabilities and conditional probabilities for the rhythmic and pitch material.
A composition created with Aleatoric Composer is made up of tempo, pitch material and patches. A composition can have up to 16 midi channels playing at once.
If you want to experiment with probability distributions for the pitches and rhythms, you can use up to six standard probability distributions - Cauchy, Linear, Uniform, Gaussian, Exponential and Poisson.
Here are midi files that I have created with Aleatoric Composer. Feel free to download the midi files and use them. Many more files will be added shortly.
The music that you are listening to has been produced with Aleatoric
Composer.
