This page is intended for beginning to intermediate Magic players who would benefit from a detailed analysis of the thought process involved in building a deck, from the initial concept to the development of what is hopefully an effective deck. I am not an expert and do not have much tournament experience. If you want a T2 deck, go elsewhere. If you're looking for a vicious speed deck, go elsewhere. I like playing friendly games for fun, and I like playing elegant combos that don't stand a snowball's chance of winning a tournament. I have, however, determined that the only way for me to keep having fun given most peoples' focus on speed is to learn how to better build a deck which can survive and perhaps occasionally get those great combos out, even against a speed deck.
