Masonic Scientology devices found in popular culture, the clues in Nicholas Poussin's painting and the Shugbourough monument, and Level 2 artificial language technology together were used to determine the deciphering mechanism for the Shepherd Monument.
Everyone has always wondered what is up with that Masonic Scientology eyeball at the top of the pyramid on the back of the US one dollar bill? It is well known that the Masonic Scientologists use this kind of contraption to encrypt and decrypt their secret messages. Anybody who has seen the film National Treasure with Nicholas Cage has seen the Deus Ex Machina devices used by these people. Since there is much talk by the historians of a Templar connection to the painting and monument one can assume that these types of devices would be used by the deciphering mechanism.
When one Googles DOUOSVAVVM one finds many links to articles about the Shepherd Monument site. Many texts are written that focus on that order of letters. Then when one see's the picture of the stone one notices that the letters are not contiguous. The D and the M are off to the left and right side respectively. The S is positioned smack in the middle center of the eight letters OUOSVAVV. The same pyramid that is present on the old US one dollar bill sits on top of the Shepherd Monument. The lady in the painting displays a left ear and the lady in the stone carving displays a right ear. The shepherd is left handed in the painting and right handed in the sculpture. Clues such as these in the painting and in the monument determine what the deciphering mechanism will look like and how it will operate.
The answer to the riddle, at least in Latin, was known ahead of time with the help of heuristics and the artificial language permutation generator. It determined the outcome of the deciphering mechanism. That is cheating, but all is fair in love, war, and deciphering. Working backwards one can not so easily, but possibly, figure out a mechanism to produce the combination of letters specified by the initial results.
The three key components used to decipher the code are a pyramid and a dial and the deciphering rules. Understanding these components is a prerequisite to understanding the deciphering mechanism.
This refers to the left handed interchange between the painting and the monument. Leve Mutuus in Latin means left handed interchange.
Catal Hoyuk is the oldest city in the Western Hemisphere. It would be an error to look for pyramids there.
Caral is the oldest city in the Eastern Hemisphere. Et Tot is Latin for "and so many". This refers to the 19 pyramids in the various locations around Caral, Peru.
Caral and Leve Mutuus are proof that something beyond the physical exists. Proof of the supernatural seems to be the central theme and focus of the Shepherd Monument.
Approximately 2000 BC huge pyramids were built on compeletely different sides of the earth, Egypt and Peru, at a time when cross continent travel was not possible. Or was it? Maybe UFOs or a deity had something to do with the phenomenon of Caral. Either way, Caral is a place that belongs on a Pink Floyd album cover. Certainly material for a monument inscription.
Tu is "you" in Spanish. Cavar is "to dig" in Spanish. U is an abbreviation for utraque (both sides) in Latin. O is "or" in Spanish.
At first glance this particular message appears to be a wild strech of the imagination because the Spanish grammar is awkward (cavar is infinitive). But before passing judgement, Google the term "Et en Arcadia Ego" on the internet. On and on the authors of web pages wax poetic about the bad grammar in this statement and it's meaning. The shepherd etched in stone is pointing to a particular letter in the statement, the letter "R" in Arcadia. That's the meaning. "Tu U o U Cava" without the "R" would be proper grammar in the above context. He is pointing at bad grammar alright. But on the other side of the decryption. Psych!
Another reason for dumping the "R" in cavar is to reduce the number of letters in the message to 9. "Et en Arcadia Ego" has 13 letters. Friday the 13th was the day when the Templars were massacred. 9 is the number of original Templars.
This message could be an indication of where to dig in Caral. Here or there (U o U) meaning both sides. Anywhere one digs in Caral one will find the pyramids. It could mean something is buried on both sides of the ears near the monument. It could mean something is buried on both sides of the wine cellar (tu cava means your wine cellar). "Tu Cava" is also the affirmative imperative conjugation of cavar. Go figure specifically what U or U refers to. Or as they say in National Treasure "one clue leads to another...".
In conclusion, the combination of Masonic Scientology symbols in popular culture, the clues in the painting and the monument, and the result determined with the help of level 2 artificial language word generation technology enable a deciphering mechanism to be constructed. The mechanism consists of a pyramid and a dial and rules. This mechanism can be used to find less apparent messages in the Shepherd Monument. The messages appear to focus on two ancient cities and the existence of the supernatural.

Vowels to words are like oxygen to life. Too much is uncomfortable. Too few or too little causes failure. There are five vowels in the alphabet, a,e,i,o and u. Being cognizant of how words are formed in an artificial language, one is more sensitive to certain aspects of this particular deciphering mechanism. For example the dial contains all vowels and one consonant. The pyramid contains all consonants and one vowel. Recipricocity is present everywhere in this deciphering mechanism. The rules are designed to balance the amount of vowels and consonants that exist before and after replacements take place.

On the back of the US one dollar bill are the words ANNUIT COEPTIS. The OE in Coeptis seems to be the catalyst for a transition which involves a paradigm shift which swaps the M and the S in LEVEMUTUUS. ANNUIT is a 6 letter word. COEPTIS is a 6 letter word. If Oliver Lawn looses sleep at night trying to figure out a definitive solution to a 10 letter code, then a double 6 letter code will definitively give him a headache. Seriously, if one looks at how pyramids may be structured, then 6 letters may represent a three level pyramid. 1+2+3=6. By the way, both words have a T in them. What letters preceed and follow the letter T? U and S (United States). Psych! Maybe? Who knows? It remains to be seen. This will be an assignment for the next level of BS code breakers.
