Jazz Band 1996-1997

The Jazz Band is an extracurricular group at Hunterdon Central.  Rehearsals are held one night a week.  Any interested musician wishing to be in the Jazz Band has to be in at least one music ensemble during the day (Concert Band, Symphonic Band, or the Marching Band), and an audition is required.  Literature played by the band in the past has been of many different genres, including Glenn Miller, Dizzy Gillepsie, and Maynard Ferguson.  The Jazz Band performs in an annual Spring Concert along with the Wind Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble, and is also featured in the Hunterdon Central's talent show, the Devils' Cabaret.
