Marko Westwood is the Artistic Director and Founder of the United Dance Experience, a contemporary dance performing arts company, new to the Las Vegas community.

Marko's interest in dance began several years ago at Berks Ballet Theater, a small regional ballet company in Reading, PA. There, his duties included performing, choreographing and teaching and has since been invited back as a guest artist and choreographer. "Forlorn Passage" and "Overkill" were featured at the 20th year Gala at the Rajah Theater and "Configurations" was featured at the 25th Anniversary Festival.

While still in PA he attended Temple University in Philadelphia as a dance major where he performed with Dance Conduit, a modern dance company in residence at the University. Also in the Philadelphia area, he had the opportunity to choreograph and perform for the Children's Ballet Theater, a small youth company which he visits annually as a guest artist and choreographer.

He is currently attending the University of Nevada-Las Vegas as a dance major with an emphasis in teaching. At UNLV he has worked with many fine choreographers, dancing as a featured soloist in various faculty and student works. In addition, he has choreographed numerous works inside the university setting, ranging from solos to group pieces.

Professionally, he has choreographed for OPUS Dance Ensemble (Las Vegas), Las Vegas Civic Ballet and for some musical productions at Chapparral High School (Las Vegas). In addition, he has worked with Grammy award winner Michael Darin for a show performed in Branson, MO.

Recently Marko choreographed and performed (Daniel) in "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" for Signature Productions, in Las Vegas, to nearly all sold-out shows.

Till a short time ago he was a dancer in the Siegfried and Roy Show at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas but has left that Company to begin working on the Second Season of the United Dance Experience. The first show opens November 7th & 8th at the UNLV Alta Ham Fine Arts Buiding, Studio 111.
