From: Dunman High Chinese Orchestra (TANG BO YUE, PIPA) Time: 1997-04-17 01:34:00 Comments: I've got this address from the concert's jie mu biao.HC's chinese orchestra have got a very impression TANG BO YUE XIAO ZU, esp the Liuqins Super Loud. The Liuqins have got very good basic techniques.so does the Pipas. The TANG BO YUE ensemble is relatively strong,and this point is fully shown in the songs HUAN TENG DE BIAN ZHAI and TIAN SHAN JI JING. However sad to say, the XIAN YUE is quite weak. Usually the Xian YUE BU of an orchestra can bring out the "thickness" of the team, but the HUQINS failed to do so, esp in ZHAN MA BEN TENG where not only the techniques but also the TAI FENG(stage performance) gave the show away. On the whole the performance was not bad. Certainly looking forward to your next performance. |
