I was born on June 15th, 1950 in Strasbourg . I spent my childhood in Alsace and it was very happy. 1961 my family moved to Paris. I received there the first lessons in music. I started to study at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique of Paris 1964 (Diploma 1971) . Subsequent I worked as a musician and teacher in Thessaloniki (Greece), Hongkong und Cairo (Egypt).
I'm living in Germany since 1974 as the principal oboist of the orchestra of the City Opera of Hildesheim and as a composer. I'm also a member of the Van Gogh Quartett. My favourite composer is Olivier Messiaen. I was a guest in his class of composition in Paris. I took part in workshops of IRCAM (Paris) .
Except for music, my sphere of interest is Judaism und Japanese cinema. The most agreeable way of passing my time is to cook.
