With the start of the new Millennium, we also begin a new era in Vienna Awards. The award, which was begun in 1997 by a resident of the former GeoCities cyberworld, was originally for residents of GeoCities only. Now, that barrier is removed, and anyone with tasteful classical music- or Vienna-oriented sites is eligible to apply.
