Alpine Singers

The Alpine Singers perform Austrian and German folk music in the greater Washington and mid-Atlantic area. They specialize in a capella music in dialect and folk music with Alpine harp, Blockflöte, and guitar accompaniment. Herbert and Carol Traxler are the founders and leaders of both the Alpine Singers and the Alpine Dancers. The Alpine Singers' repertoire of songs and a selected collection of links to related music resources are provided at this site.
