The Horn-Site
After successful auditions in Hamburg (Koster), Berlin (Seifert), Detmold
(Höltzel) und Luebeck (Kohler), I decided to go to the Musikhochschule
Luebeck. Today, I´m still happy about this good decision, because
the lessons of Mr. Christoph Kohler are really good.
I like the other students in my class very much. There are nine other
horn students here in Luebeck, but the class will grow up because Mr.
Kohler will be PROFESSOR at October. He´s a teacher which I would
recommend to everybody.
We do lots of technical studies, which are very effective, but also
the musical work on pieces is very good and successful.
The Musikhochschule Luebeck is small, about 450 students, but very
nice. It really looks like the picture above, some old buildings, connected
with each other.
Here you can download some sound files which are examples
from our last class concert. They´re each about 200kB and are only
exerpts of the pieces listed below.
Rosetti: Concerto d-Moll
Praetorius-Quartett
Reicha Trio Nr.6
Koetsier: Cinq Miniatures Nr.5
Mozart: Konzert D-Dur (Rondo)
