Glen Tuomaala, Conductor
Tuomaala is adjunct faculty at the College of Mount St. Joseph where he teaches french horn, conducting and chamber music. He is also Music Director at Purcell Marian High School where he is responsible for the coordination and development of their vocal and instrumental programs. As Music Director he was awarded the 1997 "Most Promising Teacher Award" as well as National recognition from the Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation Melody Grant Program in 1999.

Tuomaala is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and a candidate for a Masters in Music Education from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He has participated in numerous post-graduate conducting workshops where he has studied with such musicans as Robert Reynolds, Frank Battisti, Joseph Hermann, Jack Stamp and Larry Rachliff.

In addition to guest conducting with the Clermont Philharmonic Orchestra and the College of Mount St. Joseph Concert Band he also currently serves as conductor of the Chamber Arts Ensemble; Cincinnati’s professional chamber wind ensemble.
