RAFAEL SERRALLET I GÓMEZ Classical Guitar
	Rafael Serrallet is one of the best guitar players of his generation. He is born in Valčncia in the year 1971. Originally self-taught he continued his musical education in a number of conservatories including that of Valčncia. He obtained his teaching degree with the guitaristSantiago Gras, and finished his initial studies with the great maestro *José Tomás* with whom he obtained the highest possible grade. Similarly he has been awarded special distinction at all levels of his studies.
He has obtained awards in several competitions such as the prize of the"I European guitar Competition Villa de Laredo"(July 1991). He was finalist in the "Youth and music" Spanish competition (November 1994), in the contest "Música Jove"in three of its editions, and in the competition "Ruperto Chapí" in Villena (march 1993). He has participated in international courses given by todays best teachers including: Leo Brower, David Russell, Hopkinson Smith, Roberto Aussel, Manuel Barrueco... In June of the 1993 gets a grant from the Festival de Música y Danza de Granada, to attend magisterial classes with the American virtuous Eliot Fisk. He has presented recitals in several towns giving notable performances at the Lincoln Center of New York, in the Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Asuncion (Paraguay). And in other American and European cities such as Santiago (Chile),Buenos Aires (Argentina), Montevideo (Uruguay), Brasilia, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Panama, Bruges, Paris... Likewise he has done broadcasting in Radio and TV from America and Europe. He has taken part in recordings with artists related with the pop music. In March of 1996, he does his first CD "Four and half centuries of guitar in Spain" dedicated to Spanish composers, like Albéniz, Sor, Rodrigo... and obtaining magnify critics in the press and specialise magazines for it. He has collaborated with the famous English composer John Rutter, revising some of his guitar music. His excellent musicality, his technical security based on a essential and well focused technical, and his personality on the stage, make him one of the most promising talents in the guitar world.
