The Fireman
He knows the danger he must face
Wherever flames appear
And yet he hurries to the place
Without a sign of fear
He knows the smoke may steal his sight
The blaze may hem him in
The crumbling walls may crush his might
But still he strives to win
Sometimes for hours he is free
But always he is there
To save the lives and property
Of people everywhere.
