When We Are Old

When you and I are old, I hope... That we shall be together
... To share the wonders of this world... In every kind of
weather... I pray that we shall sit before... The same inviting
fire... With all the golden memories... That lovers could
desire... And if my hair is gray and yours... Reflects a silver
beauty... May both of them be evidence... That we fulfilled
our duty... May there be nothing tragic or... In any way
distressing... But may we both belong to God... And gain
His every blessing... I hope our partnership will bear... The
fruit of each endeaver... And you will be with me, my love...
Forever and forever.
