In the summer of 1998, several of us who had been a part of The Wesley Great Experiment at the Simsbury United Methodist Church wished to maintain contact with each other through the Internet and the use of Devotions. I had discovered that The Upper Room Devotionals were available online, so we subscribed to it via e-mail. Then, we discussed the Bible verses, the devotional, and/or other spiritual matters as "the Sprit moved us." Realizing as a part of my discernment process at Wellspring that I have a calling to spiritual outreach via the Internet, I sought to expand this discussion group to include others from around the world that I've met on the Internet and otherwise. To subscribe to the e-mail version of The Upper Room, (or for more information about it) click here. To join our discussion group, please send me an e-mail by clicking below.
