HOLY SPIRIT MISSIONARY SISTERS

The Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters are an international community of women, nearly 4,000 world-wide, called to witness to the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit through our life and prayer in community and through our participation in the mission of Jesus.

Together with the Divine Word Missionaries and the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters, we were founded by Blessed Arnold Janssen SVD for the work of evangelization.

Our community serves in education, health care, business, parish ministry and social services, fine arts, domestic arts, retreat work, spiritual direction and other apostolates where the Spirit leads. We invite and welcome Catholic women who feel called by God to a religious-missionary lifestyle.
