Yes, that is a picture of me and my dad. Aren't I a cutie?

Thus far, only a few of them have ventured into cyberspace. But they're each interesting in their own strange and wonderful way... The rest of you, get off your collective behind and put something on the Web!
Scot Buzza's Viola-rama | Scot speaks more languages than anyone else I know. He also makes up new words in his spare time. |
Jonas Tauber, cello | Jonas can produce sounds from his vocal cords that are too low-pitched to be heard by humans. Unfortunately, I don't think this ability is mentioned in his website. |

Yale University | Here's one of those irritating little questions that will bother you till you come up with the answer: Can you name the other seven Ivy League schools? |
Carnegie Mellon University | Lycos was invented here. School colors: plaid. I'm not kidding. |

Tom Lehrer | For those of you who haven't heard his work, Tom Lehrer is a brilliant songwriter who wrote wickedly funny songs about everything from New Math to National Brotherhood Week to Alma Mahler -- and Alma Maters, for that matter. Trivia: In "Bright College Days" Lehrer uses the line, "To the tables down at Mory's (wherever that may be...)." The whole line is stolen from a traditional Yale student song; Mory's is a members-only club in the middle of the Yale campus. (Lehrer, of course, was a professor at Yale's rival school, Harvard.)
Lehrer was also responsible for that gem of early-childhood education, the song "Silent E." |
Dilbert | Who can't relate to these comics? The Dilbert Zone also features Dilbert's Daily Mental Workout, which is sponsored by the Princeton Review. If you're obnoxious like me, you'll get a kick out of seeing how often the Princeton Review people come up with the wrong answer to their own puzzles... |
