The Vetlouga river (lower stream)

Vetlouga river is a great left affluent of Volga, about 500 km (280 miles) of length, lying in area of Nizny Novgorod. Miles and miles of sand beach and miles of pathless forests are the character attributes of Vetlouga. Canoe tourists from Moscow, Sankt-Petersburg, Nizny Novgorod like that easy, leisured river. I've made my first trip at 1997 and returned to the upper stream of the Vetlouga river at 2002.
